A Vehicle Systems Engineer is required to responsible for some or all aspects of vehicle system design from high level architecture, through wiring and integration to low level software development, deployment and calibration. Candidates with experience of the design of mechanical, thermal and other associated systems would be well received.

Due to increased workloads this company, an automotive and motorsport vehicle systems consultancy, based in Banbury, requires a proactive Vehicle Systems Engineer to be responsible for road and race car electronic system design. As a Vehicle Systems Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Concept, prototype and production applications
• Vehicle level system architecture design
• Real time embedded control software design and development
• Safety analysis and design processes
• Application test, calibration and validation

The Vehicle Systems Engineer should have the following skills or experience:

• Preferably degree qualified, or other equivalent experience
• Development of simulation models, data generation and analysis
• MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, PC applications (Visual Studio)
• Wiring Loom design
• CAN design and analysis (PEAK, Vector CANalyzer/CANoe)
• Safety analysis including FMEA, HazOP, ISO26262
