They are looking for a Head of Engineering to support site growth, drive improvement, raise the standards on site and support some exciting capital projects.

They are looking for a Head of Engineering to support site growth, drive improvement, raise the standards on site and support some exciting capital projects.

Description

The successful applicant must be able to manage a multiple discipline engineering team in a high volatile environment and set out a clear vision for their department

they must also

• Have experience in driving HSE improvements in a COMAH or high hazard facility
• Knowledge of delivering multiple projects varying from new machinery installation (Turn key) to smaller site improvements
• Knowledgeable in working with control systems
• An engaging and coaching style of leadership
• Proven track record in delivering on a robust maintenance and reliability schedules
• A passion to increase site performance and provide key technical input to the wider business

Profile

The Head of Engineering must have:

• A Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering
• Experience of managing Engineering Teams (over 15 people preferred)
• Knowledge of COMAH/ATEX/DSEAR
• Exposure of driving a Process Safety agenda
• A driven mentality focused on manufacturing excellence
• Worked in Chemical or processing environments
• Open communicator
