What you'll do:
- Lead a multi-functional team and run an end-to-end cycle for Big-data driven cost-saving/loss-reduction projects:
- Explore commercial opportunities from large/complex dataset, using tools like Bigquery and Tableau.
- Deliver actionable insights and turn them into PoC projects or tests
- Initiate / scale up executions from test learnings
- Productionise, performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Translate important commercial/strategic questions into analytical methodologies (e. quantify the key drivers of repeat calls), and lead complex analysis using regression or Machine Learning.
- Working with colleagues across functions, including commercial finance, sales, marketing, data and technology
- Helping our broader finance team get even better at using data and analytics in their day-to-day work
- Coaching and upskill team members
What you'll bring:
- Experience in using data-driven analysis to solve complex and important business problems. You will be proactive, naturally inquisitive and commercially minded.
- Experience in people management and/or leading a project delivering team.
- Experienced in delivering data driven insights.
- A competent user of Tableau and/or data studio; Bigquery experience and basic understanding of ML is a plus.
- Clearly / concisely communicating results of complex analysis to senior and / or non-technical stakeholders
- Breaking down business questions into analytical requirements
- Knowledge on statistics is a plus
