Hays legal are delighted to representing a leading energy company in their search for a Solicitor to join their In House legal team in Dublin.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing legal advice to the business on a wide range of complex commercial, contractual, corporate, procurement and regulatory matters, to include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on connection agreements, advising on the regulatory framework within which the business operates, managing disputes and advising on compliance matters and corporate matters such as data protection.
You will manage external legal advisors using professional judgement to instruct external firms, as required, and managing relationships with them with a view to maximising value for money and minimising overall risk and cost to the business.
You will provide effective and solutions driven legal advice, support and guidance to the business, delivering high quality services against demanding timelines and presented in accessible language that can be understood by all.
You will have knowledge of the energy industry and be results driven, highly organised and efficient with an ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
You will enjoy working with the business in a high performing and fast-paced environment across a diverse range of legal matters.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified lawyer with 2 years PQE in commercial, contractual or regulatory law with a proven track record of proactively organising and managing high workload.
You will have the ability to effectively deal with a wide range of complex legal matters across a variety of legal fields demonstrating experience in at least a number of the following areas: Commercial Contracts, Regulation, Planning and Environmental, Infrastructure Projects, Data Protection and Procurement.
You be a Team player who can support and be collegiate with others in delivering company Strategy and objectives and you will have the ability to quickly master complex areas of law and technical industry parameters.
