Senior Business Analyst required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 6–month contract, paying GBP600 – GBP750 a day, inside IR35, mostly remote working (will be required to travel to London, Birmingham & Manchester Offices).
As a Senior Business Analyst within this Project, your core purpose will be to act as the bridge between the business and the jurisdictions across geographical areas. This will involve you identifying best practice processes already being used and processes which could be simplified, optimised or improved. This information will inform the requirements of the new tender document and reflect the benefits of introducing new solutions to the different language services.
You will take responsibility for leading defined areas of work. The role will encompass engagement across departments, jurisdictions, service users and regional operations within the various jurisdictions. Shadowing our booking agents and other operational areas to identify 'AS IS' and proposing 'TO BE' scenarios. Working with a range of stakeholders and partners who will be impacted by any change. Developing process maps and working with the business to ensure the requirements are fully captured.
Taking an Agile delivery approach, you will be part of a team, working in a fast–paced environment and putting the users at the heart of the design.
Main Responsibilities:
*Leading the process mapping to inform the developing of requirements, stakeholder management, process modelling and investigations required to support the introduction of new process and business solutions into the delivery of language services.
*Facilitating stakeholder workshops to identify the user and business needs.
*Supporting the management of design issues raised by the services users, judiciary, suppliers, our partners and business stakeholders, providing options and recommended solutions to resolve the issues and improve process for a more streamlined service.
*Evaluation of the business benefits that will be delivered once the new business solutions are operational across the reformed service areas.
*The post holder is required to work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties reasonably requested by line management which are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post.
Essential Skills:
*Experience of working in a large organisation, or demonstrable understanding of how large organisations operate in the context of this role.
*Previous experience of working across senior and business stakeholders ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned.
*Extensive proven track record of process–mapping, process re–design, resolving issues and creating more efficient ways of working which reflect best value for money.
*Experience of analysing large amounts of complex information and using it to produce solutions.
Personal Skills:
*Facilitation skills with the ability to find common ground between the technical and non–technical.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
*Self–motivated, proactive and customer focused.
*Experience of problem solving and working with others to deliver at pace.
*Can make decisions within agreed parameters.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Please apply should you meet the above criteria.
