Senior Financial Accountant
4-6 months contract

Ignata Finance are exclusively partnering a household name retail brand to recruit a new Senior Financial Accountant on an interim basis. We are looking for a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) accountant with relevant financial experience in retail.
You will be supporting the wider finance team across a variety of tasks, primarily focussing on financial accounts, management accounts, year-end and Tax and VAT reporting requirements. Therefore, you will be technically focussed and able to get into the detail. You will also ideally have wider European experience as our client’s key customer outside of the UK is Germany.
You will be responsible for preparation of multiple departments budgets, monthly management accounts and business partnering / stakeholder management. You will provide insightful variance analysis and identify risks and opportunities. You will play a key part in the planning and delivery of the annual accounts and the year end audit.
You must be a good communicator, have strong analytical skills and above all timely, attention to detail and technically sound. Strong IT and systems skilled are also necessary.
The salary is £65k-70k depending on experience.
