As a result of their success they have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Head of Operations to work on their Social Housing Refurbishment and Planned Works programs across South region.

The Head of Operations is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the regional strategy (in line with the company's business strategy), to maximise profit growth, through the delivery of right first–time services, the control of costs, the delivery of first–class health and safety, best in class customer service and highly engaged and motivated teams.

Key Responsibilities – Head of Operations

Works with clients to agree customer service standards and levels and puts plans in place to deliver, monitor and report on these, developing and implementing remedial action plans where standards and SLAs are not met
Builds long–term strategic relationships with key clients
Identifies opportunities to expand services to existing clients and presents robust business cases for new work, particularly if investment is required and/or there is a potential impact on cash–flow
Uses networks to identify opportunities with new clients and/or new services, presenting thorough and robust business cases to the Board of Directors
Maintains up–to–date knowledge of the marketplace, competitors and trends
Ensures that appropriate due diligence is completed ahead of all bids to ensure commercial viability
Provides regular strategic and operational updates to the Board for the areas of responsibility and contributes to wider Board proposals and decision making, outside of direct areas of responsibility
Develops and communicates clear vision and direction and ensures all teams within the region understand the goals of the business and their contribution to business success
Takes ownership for team development and progression within the region, proactively and positively managing talent and succession for the present and future success of the business
Recognises and rewards exceptional performance and openly shares successes across the businessKey skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years senior management experience in a Social Housing environment
Demonstrates a high standard of personal and professional responsibility
Implements and drives organisational strategy relating to disruptive change, including anticipating and managing resistance to change
Builds strong working relationships with key stakeholders to create long–range opportunities (Clients, Consultants, Framework providers, Key Supply chain, Customers etc???)
Commercially astute, identifying key commercials risks and opportunities within projects and provide guidance to projects teams on how to manage these through project life–cycles to ensure positive outcomes.Applications are welcomed from all as we are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
