BACKGROUND
Our client is a specialist provider of data, software and solution platforms to the automotive sector in the UK and over 20 countries globally.
They partner with OEMs, dealer groups, leasing, rental, and insurance companies providing a wide range of products and services ranging from residual value forecasting, vehicle appraisal, inventory management, market information, dealer group reporting and sales lead generation.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the UK Group Sales Director the role is responsible for delivering new business and re–securing exiting clients using a structured, consultative engagement process.
Post–sale the role will play a key part in follow up, retention, upsell/cross sell and maintain market intelligence on competor products, pricing, functionality and sales approaches
THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Automotive Industry experience gained in one of the following roles
1. Selling solutions, software, data or systems to OEMs, Leasing sector, Dealer Groups or Rental or that are IT based products (DMS systems / showroom prospecting and CRM systems / used car stock management systems / vehicle finance)
2. OEM based used car field team (responsible for developing used car activity within a group of dealers)
3. Dealer based used car management (responsible for stock sourcing, pricing and team management)
4. Used car management training role within a dealer or OEM
* Experience in selling to board level and 1st line management
* Demonstrable experience and ability to convince others to absorb and embrace new products or concepts.
* Highly organised and consultative in approach coupled with the ability to manage personal time effectively.
* Naturally curious, very interested in technology, and keeps up to date with new and strategic changes in market and industry.
* Highly numerate with the ability to extract data in Excel from IT systems and to manipulate this information for playback to internal staff and dealer teams
