Festival Director: We Invented the Weekend
Location: Salford, M50 3AZ.
Salary: Circa GBP55,000 per annum dependent on experience plus staff benefits.
Contract: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
We have a brand new and exciting opportunity this year in Salford to deliver what will be one of the UK's largest, most exciting festivals. With an exciting mix of partners based at the Quays, MediaCityUK and beyond, with a huge digital reach, We Invented the Weekend will be high profile and innovative whilst always remaining inclusive and participatory at its core.
We are looking for an experienced festival producer who can lead on all aspects of festival production and work alongside the delivery partners to ensure a successful event. Your responsibilities will include managing festival contracts (partners, artists etc), monitoring expenditure and work alongside the partners and festival team to promote the festival.
You should have previous experience of delivering programmes of work that attract a wide range of audiences, and be committed to cultural diversity and representation across all communities. The ability to build and maintain key relationships is essential.
