Robert Walters are excited to be partnering with Hubron to recruit a Sales Director to support their ambitious growth plans

Hubron International is one of the world's leading suppliers of Black Masterbatch and Conductive Compounds and are now part of the O'Brien Group (OBG) with its Head Office in Liverpool.

The OBG Group Group comprises of several companies within the pharmaceutical and plastics/additves sectors and they provide the support and financial investment to unlock Hubrons potential.

Established in 1934 as a manufacturer of rubber compound, in 1971, Hubron started the production of plastic black masterbatch. supplying masterbatch worldwide to a variety of customers including film, sheet, pipe, cable and fibre extrusion and technical compounding businesses. They pride themselves on their close partnerships with both customers and distributors with their inhouse technical capabilities, innovation and extensive knowledge of the black masterbatch/polymer industry

Main Responsibilities of the Sales Director:

As a member of the senior leadership team, the Sales Director will develop and implement the long–term ambitious commercial strategy and create a "best in class" sales and customer service team to aid business growth across all international territories

Key Duties to include:

Lead the business development initiatives, working closely with customers and distributors to deliver the right strategy to grow sales and increase profitability
To liaise, negotiate and support distributors/customers with their requirements based upon customers commercial and technical expectations
Deliver accurate sales targets for volume, price and contribution with individual key customer account responsibility
Monitor and report monthly upon the Sales performance for key accounts and new customers against budget and overall market activities to allow for future development
Oversee the customer service operations ensuring a high level of service, delivery and overall positive customer experience
To monitor, in conjunction with the credit controller, the payment history and credit worthiness of all distributors and customers to ensure timely payments
Work closely with operations and technical departments to ensure projects are aligned with customer requirements

Skills/Experience Required:

Ideally educated to degree level
Significant proven experience of designing and implementing commercial strategies, ideally from an International polymer or chemical manufacturer
Entrepreneurial with the ability to think outside of the box to improve sales revenues
High energy levels and degree of intellect to challenge and promote new sales/business development.
Experience of developing and leading sales and customer service departments
Strong commercial acumen selling technical solutions with a full understanding of the value proposition.
Organised, persuasive, strong networker and influential communication style
