We have an exciting position available for a COVID HR Business Partner to work with Oxfordshire South Central Ambulance Trust. Working on behalf of the Covid Response Service (CRS). The HR Business Partner will support the Covid Head of HR through effective management and development of the Covid–19 workstream.

Responsibilities:

* To provide professional leadership and development ensuring that CRS strategies and operational plans are achieved in line with timelines and performance metrics.

* Actively participate in the development and implementation of the CRS operational planning, associated plans and initiatives

* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the NPFS, Commissioning Support Unit groups (CSU) and key Trust staff.

* To be the lead, key advisor and work with key stakeholders in the CSUs and Corporate Directorates to ensure delivery of workforce priorities and provide professional, comprehensive, and proactive specialist employment advice.

* Take ownership of actions and responsibilities to effectively support NPFS, CSUs and guarantee resolution of issues raised.

* To contribute to the development and delivery of CRS, CSUs AHP service plans and programmes as identified within key objectives.

* Analysis and monitoring of CRS workforce statistics to identify areas where improvements could be made and formulating work programmes in conjunction with CRS and CSUs managers to address issues

* To support the review of workforce requirements and participate in workforce planning including succession planning and talent management to ensure continuity of service and planned staff progression.

* Provide highly specialist employment law advice for all staff groups with Trust both medical and non–medical

* Provide specialist advice to managers in respect of reasonable course of action in dealing with employment matters guided by broad employment legislation or external reference points (e.g. personal update in current case law).

* Ensure disciplinary/grievance matters are heard fairly and in accordance with Trust Policy and current employment legislation requirements and provide direction regarding appropriate outcomes in disciplinary matters.

* Ensure the provision of guidance to managers regarding terms and conditions, good employment practices and employment law with regard to all staff in the Trust both medical and non–medical.

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Hourly rate: GBP34.41
