Head of Organic SEO
Ashdown Group have been engaged by a Leading household brand within consumer services to assist them recruiting a highly strategic and commercial SEO Organic Performance Lead.
Reporting to the Head of Digital you will be part of the Digital Leadership Team alongside other digital specialists. The main focus is to create the SEO content strategy that will optimise visitor experience and translate to revenue growth.
The SEO and Content Team is responsible for delivering all elements of the SEO strategy across content, technical implementation, and outreach.Do you have experience driving significant increases in performance through your expert knowledge of SEO content and able to demonstrate this at a strategic level?
As well as being responsible for the training and mentoring of a talented team of search marketing experts you will be using your expert knowledge to demonstrate how SEO integrates into the company's Media and Digital marketing strategy. You will be the SME and reference point for all things SEO for your product channel, working alongside other vertical leads to share knowledge and new innovations. .
Using your broad commercial experience you will work collaboratively with the Production, Commercial and Editorial teams to review performance and put forward recommendations to devise content driven campaigns.
As well as your creative and technical SEO know–how this role requires someone who thinks commercially and can make a significant contribution to the leadership team. You will have the ability to identify opportunities for growth, focusing on market and legislative changes, content gap analysis, cross–channel optimization, and industry updates.
Overseeing audits on a quarterly basis you will continually monitor and review visitor performance and using your analytical skills produce reports on performance against target and budget.
To be considered you must have the following
Expertise in all areas of organic performance
Advanced knowledge of SEO tools and platforms
Proven ability to solve complex and strategic problems
Strong commercial background with prior experience within a management role
Passionate about SEO and can convey the integral role SEO plays to others
Great communicator with experience of working in an agile community
As well as a salary of GBP70,000 there is a bonus available of up to 15% plus other great benefits. You will be working as part of a great team of people and in a flexible working culture where emphasis is put on your well–being. The role is hybrid, (post COVID restrictions) with two days based in the London office, one of which will be spent with the team.. The rest of the week will be remote working
