Our client, a public sector body , seek a Programme Manager on an interim basis for up to 22 months.

This role attracts a salary up to GBP310 per day – outside of IR35.

This role is blended with flexible working hours available. currently remotely working.

Key responsibilities:
Your role will be to support current and national programme development within the Leadership and Talent Management team. You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Leadership, Wellbeing and Culture, Head of Leadership and Talent Management and with partners and stakeholders in NES, SG and Social Care and technical partners.
You will oversee programme development, implementation, provide guidance to our programme team and stakeholders in terms of delivery, manage programme quality, impact and budgets, broaden and deepen relationships with internal and external partners and respond to development opportunities.
You will have working knowledge and experience of Scottish Government, Programme and Project Management principles (PPM), governance and Agile Project methodology.
You will be comfortable working independently and will have the opportunity to further develop your responsibilities once they have settled into the role.

You will be responsible for Programme management with Leadership Talent and Development champions and collaborative cross public sector internal and external groups, to promote collaboration and co–design of policy initiatives, that will ensure Leadership and Talent Management development for the Health and Social care workforce.
Working in a high profile and cross–cutting policy space, you will explore more effective integration of Leadership and Talent Management strands across Health and Social Care for a National Leadership Development programme and facilitate the sharing of best practice in programme management, collaborative working and use of collaborative tools.

You will work with the Deputy Director of Leadership, Wellbeing and Culture, Head of Leadership and Talent Management, SG, NES, Social care and technical partners to develop a programme of activity with the Leadership and Talent Management team and internal and external stakeholders, which both reflects and influences priorities set by the Talent Review Group and the Talent Review Board

You will have excellent communication and engagement skills, and be confident when engaging and influencing senior officials, Ministers and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
In addition you should be a role model for their own team by actively modelling appropriate behaviours and displaying compassionate leadership
