Business Development Manager
Location – Renfrew

Doosan Babcock is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to work within our Asset Management team in Renfrew. This role will support across the market sectors in which we operate including energy and other highly regulated markets, and is responsible and accountable for leading and managing a portfolio of customers across the Asset Management Business Unit and driving growth across both new and existing opportunities.
The successful applicant will focus on maximising the profitability and growth potential for the Asset Management Sector whilst also maximising business opportunities across Doosan Babcock. This will be done through identification, development and securing of new business opportunities from prospect through to contract award as well as helping to lead the activities of the Business Development team to ensure effective input into proposals and internal process compliance.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Opportunity identification
* Bid & Proposals process
* Opportunity pipeline management
* Financial OI/TO/DM forecast
* Customer Account Management
You'll be measured via various KPI's including (but not limited to):
* Order Intake
* Turnover and Margin targets across Asset Management product portfolio
* Bid–to–win ratio
Candidates should ideally be qualified to degree level or above in engineering or science with experience of performing business development roles at management/lead level. A proven track record of leadership with strong communication skills is required as well as excellent knowledge of either the Nuclear energy industry or highly regulated markets.
Key is that you have a proven track record of solution and value–based sales approaches with knowledge of future markets, technologies and potential opportunities for business growth.
