Our client is a private equity backed manufacturer and distributor of automotive performance parts.
The business has developed a strong market following and reputation for excellence, reflected in the selection of the business as a preferred supplier for major motorsport events and championships.
The GBP30m turnover business now requires a Managing Director to join the business to take the company through the next stage of growth, including new online product launches, the expansion of products for the growing supercar market, and to lead forward the further expansion of sales channels and distribution networks.
Our client seeks a very commercially mature Managing Director who can lead the business forward and run P&L autonomously, with the parameters set by the private equity investors.
The Managing Director to be appointed will be empathetic with strong soft skills and the ability to support of the team in building relationships with their global automotive and motorsport partners, whilst encouraging the brand reputation for product quality and technical excellence.
