A UK leader in low carbon vehicle technologies is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to develop strong relationships with various business functions including engineering and manufacturing to support financial reporting and creation of cost models.
The Finance Business Partner Duties:
Working in the FP&A team, developing strong relationships with each Business Department.
Support the weekly and monthly reporting of financial and operational metrics
Track and report actual vs budget performance.
Support the production of budgeting for CAPEX and OPEX
Compare historical results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, and performing variance analysis.
Draw conclusions to explain differences in performance and make departmental improvements.
Support the budget and forecasting process and reporting for the key operational business units, understanding key drivers and variances by building strong relationships with the Finance Team
Prepare profitability and margin analysis by product
Prepare internal reports for executive leadership.
The Successful Finance Business Partner Will Have:
Minimum of 3 experience in a similar role in an automotive or manufacturing environment
Demonstrable Finance experience within FP&A or similar cost control or commercial reporting roles.
Experience within financial planning and operations, cost efficiency evaluations, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and consolidation
