CREATIVE DIRECTOR
My client is looking to appoint a CREATIVE DIRECTOR to assume responsibility for the creative output of their busy London Studio. Recently ranked in the top 5 of Digital Marketing Agencies in the UK by Drum, they are looking for a CREATIVE DIRECTOR who is an ideas machine – somone highly conceptual with a strong social sense, capable of CREATING campaigns that move people to react, that illicts strong emptional responses. They are specifically keen on camdidates with a solid creative agency background.
As CREATIVE DIRECTOR you will be hands on whilst working with your team to bring your ideas to life. You must be equally comfortable working in the studio as you are at winning pitches.
Core duties
* Leadership – Hire, develop and oversee creative and strategic teams. Look after my clients people.
* Management – Can manage and develop people to push the standard. Define and champion clear and succinct visions for your teams, structures/processes and client accounts.
* Communication – This CREATIVE DIRECTOR role requires someone highly persuasive and an emotive storyteller, someone who can create compelling narratives and presentations while pitching ideas. Can clearly articulate directions to internal teams.
* Products and services – Own, and continuously refine the agency services.
* People and cultures – Stay on top of people, cultures and markets.
Creative
* An ideas machine – Excellent at generating concepts for others to work on, and refining/polishing ideas from the creative team. Have a keen awareness of current trends in advertising, marketing and design.
* A hands–on creative – Extensive knowledge of graphic design and relevant software. Familiarity with film–making techniques. Video editing, copywriting and a basic understanding of scripting, markup and stylesheet languages.
Strategy
* Client effectiveness – Can prove the difference our clients work is making, commercially or behaviourally, beyond doubt. Build structures/processes to monitor progress vs client account visions.
* Data and insights – Highly numerate, analytical and can interpret any research wisely. Bring insights and imagination to create market–beating work.
