Job Description
Exciting opportunity for an engaging finance professional, to join a fast growing and impressive Swindon based organisation in a high profile role.

Morgan McKinley is working exclusively with a leading Swindon based business, to recruit a Head of Group Reporting & Accounting.

Reporting into the Finance Director as a key member of the finance leadership team, you will have responsibility for leading and developing a large team. You will have full ownership of P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial processes, and will oversee management reporting and plan and manage ongoing finance projects.
This is not a particularly technical role (although IFRS experience would be useful), and you will be working very much in partnership with the business as a facilitator who can think outside the box and add value as a business partner. The focus of the role will be broad in nature, including both financial but also commercial and strategic, and my client is a complex and sizable PLC.

This role offers significant flexibility and hybrid working, with an expectation to be in the office probably a couple of times a week max. To be considered for this role you will be a fully Qualified Accountant with significant PQE and a proven track record as a competent and capable finance leader. You will be comfortable being 'hands–on' one minute and strategic the next, and your softer skills will be demonstrated by your ability to network, influence and build excellent stakeholder relationships.
