Robert Walters – Interim Internal Controls Specialist – 6 months – West Midlands
Our client, a National B2C Service Provider is looking for an Interim Internal Controls specialist to review and update policy documents, review reconciliations and balance sheets. This opportunity offers a great working environment for an individual who wants to get hands on with everyday tasks.
Location: West Midlands
Contract length: 6 months
Contract hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: GBP500 a day
Key responsibilities of the Internal Controls Specialist
Develop a plan for the controls framework and oversee the implementation tasks
Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate documentation, escalation to business partners, senior leadership and audit committee
Lead the process for Internal Controls reviews across the group
Formulate policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance and efficiencyKey essentials of the Internal Controls Specialist
Qualified Accountant
Strong experience in balance sheets, reconciliation and risk matters
