Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Derby (DE1)
Hourly Pay rate: GBP16.97–GBP21.66 (Depending on experience)
Contract Length: Until the end of March 2022

Reporting to: Senior HR Business Partner
Grafton Recruitment, are now seeking to appoint a HR Business partner for our client based in Derby. The contract is for 4 months. We are currently working remotely but anticipate that the individual will be required to work from a Client base on occasion (probably once a week). The successful candidate will be a member of the CIPD (MCIPD) with a generalist background, have experience of managing organisational change and ideally HR project management. The post holder may be required to work at any establishment at any time throughout the duration of their contract, normally at a location within the Derbyshire area, or as set out under the terms of their contract.
Duties
The post holder will be a recognised subject matter expert in Human Resources and will deliver organisation focused Human Resources services to all functional areas;
This role supports the Head of Human Resources & Organisational Development and Senior HR Business Partner;
Provision of high level professional and practical advice and guidance to customers on the full range of strategic and transactional HR matters. This will involve building and maintaining collaborative and productive working relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues, trade unions to establish professional credibility and maintain and expand the service provided for the future as well as develop, promote and maintain a culture of healthy employee relations and staff involvement and engagement;
Production of workforce metrics and dashboards which support and evidence both customer demands and outputs and accurately reflect the customer's workforce, taking the lead on managing this provision;
Provision of advice on workforce and succession planning, job and department design;
Assistance with and implementation of change management and service improvement projects.
Qualifications
Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area;
Membership of CIPD to MCIPD level.
Knowledge & Experience
Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment;
Evidence of continued HR & OD professional development;
Demonstrated experience of co–ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments;
Extensive experience of providing generalist HR advice within complex multi–site, multi–disciplined, unionised environments;
Experience of recruitment and selection processes, including assessment centres, interviewing and feedback;
Evidence of managing a range of HR–related projects through to successful conclusion;
Experience of working with a range of customers and stakeholders of all levels, internal and external, such as Directors, Senior Management, Professional Organisations and Trade Unions.
