Linkline are one of the fastest growing SMEs in the transport and logistics sector. Their current board have developed a service and infrastructure that will deliver over 100% growth in turnover and EBITDA for the current year. The appointment of their first Finance Director will provide the strength and additional energy to accelerate further. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the Finance function and work with an entrepreneurial management team to drive growth organically and by acquisition in a highly successful business that is rapidly expanding.
This business is very much customer and people focused, the brief will be to develop and grow the finance team, but your numbers and commercial input will be key to the strategy. Therefore, a strong background in systems and controls will be needed to manage growth effectively, but also good commercial acumen will be essential.
As a qualified accountant your role as the Financial Director will ensure you lead from the front and your numbers will drive the business forward. Ideally you will be from a transport or logistics background although this is not essential as personality, drive and ambition is equally important in this period of growth.
