A West Midlands Local Authority require a temporary Project Manager to manage and deliver a Tobacco Dependency Programme working with partners across the health and care system. Role will include:
o Delivering the option 1 model for delivery by March 31st 2022 and monitor and evaluate. This includes mobilise some of the key milestones including, project plan, review of the data recording/IT systems, review of NRT costs to the system budget management.
o Implementing project management tools to develop detailed delivery plan for years 2 and 3 including project plan, timeline, risk register, identify what needs to be in place and the resources required to scale up the provision
o Working in partnership with the LTP Prevention leads and establishing LTP Tobacco Control steering group and trust tobacco dependency groups, expanding membership to ensure all system partners engaged
o Working in partnership with other authorities/areas to share best practice
o Building relationship and working with regional leads to ensure programme is meeting NHSE/I KPIs
o Developing a communications and engagement plan and reporting mechanism into the Population Health and Prevention Board who govern the programme
o Submit reports into regional and national team as and when requested
o Lead on the monitoring and evaluation of the delivery models in relation to the Health Inequalities Strategic Plan and national inequalities' priorities. The plan will set out our 'five high impact actions' as well as national NHS health inequalities initiatives such as 'Core 20+5'

Skills/Key attributes required:
o Effective large scale project management skills (incl knowledge of project management techniques, managing project risk )
o Ability to work with organisational standards, governance and working practices to deliver the required outcomes.
o Ability to deliver the assigned project(s) within agreed budget by agreed deadline.
o The ability to organise and present written, numerical and graphical information in a clear, concise and informative way.
o Effective oral communication skills with the ability to influence others and establish credibility.
o Ability to successfully engage and interact with a variety of different stakeholders with positive outcomes.
o Ability to effectively manage change and contribute to others managing change.

Home based. Required until end March 2022 but with possible extention. Circa GBP400 per day Outside IR35
