Elements Europe has successfully positioned itself as a leading organisation in the UK's off–site manufacturing and construction market; having an enviable portfolio of projects across hotels, residential and student accommodation.

Following substantial investment by leading global construction firm, GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C), Elements Europe have a number of large projects in the pipeline and are looking to scale up the delivery capability with immediate effect with the appointment of the following role;

Head of HR/HR Manager Main function: Taking overall responsibility for the Human Resource function. The ideal candidate will embrace and develop the HR Strategy, ensuring as the business scales up, the right people are in the right place at the right time, maintain day to day operations and deliver proactive and business focused HR advice and services, including, recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, succession planning and pay and rewards.

Head of HR/HR Manager Role responsibilities:

* Develop and implement the HR strategy, vision and objectives working with the Senior Leadership team.

* Lead and develop the HR team providing day to day support/direction

* Ensure that effective and appropriate HR Policies and Procedures are in place which meet legal requirements, best practice and organisational objectives

* Supporting and coaching Managers on issues a wide range of people issues including attendance management, performance, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, capability including coaching less experienced managers to facilitate/lead processes, appeal meetings

* Management of HR projects and initiatives including people management education & training

* Roll–out of performance review, promotion and pay planning provision of HR related training

* Input to and implementation of new and refreshed employment policies and procedures

* Co–ordination of payroll

* Management of occupational health contract

* Administration of starters and leavers, along with labour planning and reviews

* Maintain a focus on broader HR issues and legislation outside of the business.

Head of HR/HR Manager Candidate Profile:

This is a varied role, ideal for someone with a strong HR Management background ideally within construction, manufacturing or other transferable sectors/backgrounds.

You will need to possess exceptional communication skills and enjoy working closely with business operations. Able to build strong working relationships with the business, push back when you need to and have good experience of managing end to end ER cases.

The ideal candidate will be a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner/Advisor looking for their next step into a truly generalist and very hands on operational role.
