We are now recruiting a permanent full time, Head of Human Resources responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and professional service through leadership of the HR team. As a member of CIPFA's senior management team, the role will require you to demonstrate strong instincts in the implementation of strategic initiatives and be able to support our corporate ambitions through collective endeavours in a matrix working environment.
To be suitable for the role you need to have extensive experience in an HR leadership role and good knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice. Excellent leadership skills with proven experience of supporting modernising organisations and being an agent of change are essential.
CIPFA will offer a competitive salary and very flexible working arrangements, with the ability for the majority of your time being working from home. When you are in the office, you can be based at either our Chester or London offices.

Location: CIPFA is a forward–looking organisation and has developed a modern and progressive approach to flexible working. The location for the role will be dual location at both home and our London or Chester office.
Contract Type: Permanent,
Hours: Full Time, 36 hour working week (normally between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm)
Salary: Competitive
