Business Development Manager

The Role: The exciting new role of Business Development Manager will see you working for a global organisation who specialise in the hire & sales of construction plant & tools across the UK. This Business Development Manager position is working within a specialist division which leads the market in the temporary heating, ventilation, and air conditioning sector.

You will be selling to a range of end users such as hospitals, facilities management companies, retail outlets, warehousing, and construction contractors across the South East. The area for the Business Development Manager role is as far West as Swindon, but no further North than Reading, the South East quadrant of London, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, and some of Kent. You will ideally be based around the Surrey region as that is central to the territory.

The Company: Our client are the market leaders in their sector and have been through a huge evolution process in the last 18 months. They have rebranded, enhanced their offering to their customers, and have invested vast sums of money into new kit & equipment. They have a strong leadership team and have specialised their sales functions to give better service to market sectors they operate in. They are continuously growing, both organically and through acquisition. It is an extremely exciting time to join the business as they head into 2022 off the back of a very strong 2021.

Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must:

Have a track record of B2B field sales
A natural relationship builder at all levels
Be driven, ambitious, and passionate
Understand selling into commercial end users
Be an effective communicator & negotiator
Have a full & clean driving licence

The Package for Business Development Manager is:

Basic: up to GBP40k DOE
GBP10k+ uncapped OTE paid quarterly
