We manufacture and deliver a diverse range of vehicle cleaning products and are the trade leader in the UK and Ireland. We are enjoying the most significant period of business growth in our history, with sales expected to increase by 50% in the next 5 years, the implementation of our new ERP system and the upgrading of our manufacturing operations.
As our new Head of SEQ, you will join our senior leadership team where you will have full autonomy for a broad, multi–disciplined business function. With a passion for continuous improvement, you will be shaping and leading best practice in the transformation of health and safety, environmental, quality, regulatory and legislative policies.
One of the first industrial businesses in the UK to adopt the internationally recognised EN14001 standard, we have been at the forefront of the move toward increased awareness of environmen–tal sustainability within our sector. As part of this, you will take the lead on a variety of exciting projects, including investigating fully biodegradable packaging.
As our new Head of SEQ you will:
• Define, shape, and implement our SEQ strategy and vision
• Advise and guide the Board on all aspects of safety and environment legislation
• Be a role model for SEQ best practice
• Motivate, lead, and inspire a world class team of subject matter experts
• Coach, guide and develop your team through SMART objectives and PDPs
• Act as a role model for SEQ best practice
• Implement new processes and drive change to improve efficiency
• Work cross functionally with colleagues to achieve business objectives
What you will bring:
• An inspirational and motivational leadership style
• A passion for health and safety, environmental and quality
• An autonomous, agile work ethic
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (science, health and safety, environmental)
• NEBOSH Certificate (Diploma an advantage)
• Professional competence ideally backed up with relevant qualifications e.g. DGSA, FPA Fire Safety Management, IEMA and IQA Membership, IRCA Lead Auditor
