Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Global bank

We are now working with a major global investment bank, who are looking to add a VP to their European corporate strategy team. This high profile group advises the European Board and senior management on key strategic issues and blue sky strategic planning.

Day to day, the role will involve:

• Lead strategic projects or Group–wide initiatives assessing both long–term strategic and shorter–term tactical opportunities for the bank

• Work with Associates / Analysts and alongside Directors (as required) on strategic reviews and to ensure best practice is applied to internal processes, accountability and governance

• Perform market, industry and competitor analyses (including benchmarking) to support planning and performance management activities

They are interested in meeting professionals who will have a background as follows:

• Strategy professionals from other banks or financial services groups
• Strategy consultants from the leading strategy consulting firms
• Strong knowledge of and interest in the financial services sector
• Probably operating at the VP/ engagement manager level already
