Finance Director - SSC Operations for a large business based in the West Midlands
Your new company
This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercial and entrepreneurial logistics business as the Finance Director for Shared Service Operations. This is a key leadership role and will be instrumental to the continued success of the business and the continuous improvement of back office functions.
Your new role
In this role you will manage a large team (60+) of finance heads across all areas of transactional finance including credit and accounts payable. The role will manage all back office transactions and credit management for a number of business units including joint ventures. The organisation interacts with a large volume of customers and suppliers and this role will drive process improvements across the function.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience of leading large transactional finance teams in a commercial environment. A strong credit risk background would be advantageous along with a track record of continuous improvement.
