The Retail Media Technology & Insight Analyst role is with the Asda Media Partnership (AMP), between GIG Retail and Asda Stores Limited, where you'll be helping to develop and expand an already impressive GBP100M retail media business. The AMP connects advertisers with Asda customers serving relevant offers and communications at optimum moments.
You will play a pivotal role, working with multiple tech partners to drive the development of a connected technology ecosystem to transform the planning, selling, booking, delivery and evaluation of Asda media, plethora of digital & traditional media channels, targeting options, messages and creative templates.
Key Responsibilities: Technology project management
* Ensuring technology solutions simplify how we manage complex media, through integration of platforms across the business.
Advanced Analytics:
* Working with the commercial, media planning, insights & operations teams to support decision making and deliver data led insights to enhance media propositions, improve campaign performance, and the Asda supplier experience.
* Financial reporting and pricing analysis and rate card recommendations based on new propositions, impression delivery predictions, performance analysis, sell through rates.
* Predictive analytics to support media utilisation, building models to identify high propensity suppliers for monthly media, pricing analytics, elasticity to support deals and rate card.
* Working with online data to forecast impression availability & decrementation and advertiser profiling & segmentation for B2B CRM.
Who are we looking for?
Previously held role(s) in technology management/ data management within a media agency.
* Worked extensively across ad–tech & marketing technology platforms, systems and processes; able to pull together a single view of data, to drive business strategy.
* Managing delivery of complex technology projects with multiple parties and technology owners.
* Worked across a variety of key departments, datasets and platforms, specifically web analytics, CRM and user management & access.
* Advanced negotiation and influencing skills and ability to prioritise & substantiate business requests.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Hold a degree level qualification in Information Technology or related field.
* Power BI.
* SQL or SAS.
* Python, Visual basic and JSON desirable.
* Salesforce, Media Cloud desirable.
