The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Resourcing to join the House of Commons. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual who will use their professional expertise to provide inclusive leadership and advice on talent attraction, selection and onboarding.

Part of your responsibility will be to manage the newly established Resourcing Team, covering on–boarding, recruitment, data, and operations, as well as branding. You will also be responsible for the management of the e–recruitment system and budget.

The strategic aim of the House of Commons is to support a thriving parliamentary democracy. As the Head of Resourcing you will be part of the People and Culture Team and will support this aim by striving to develop an inclusive, customer focused culture that attracts and develops diverse, expert and dedicated talent

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

Operational knowledge and experience of best–practice resourcing. This will include recruitment systems and selection methodologies and tools such as the use of executive search, assessment tools and staff engagement panels as well as talent management.
Ability to analyse recruitment data from different perspectives and present high–level trends to senior stakeholders.
Evidence of delivering Resourcing strategies and plans to successfully achieve organisational goals, with emphasis on improved performance, talent management, and diversity and inclusion.
