Head of Sales and Marketing (Student Recruitment) - Online Education

The Head of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for the development and execution of OES' partners' overall marketing and sales strategy and performance.
The role is responsible for managing multiple sales channels including an in–house telephone–based sales team, with the goal of reaching sales targets.
The role is also tasked with providing sales insights and reporting data to key stakeholders.
Major Challenges
Development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for domestic and international student recruitment for our partners. Adoption and implementation of best practice in lead generation, pipeline management and sales conversion ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.
Key responsibilities
Develop, implement and execute the overall marketing strategy for our Partners (Universities and other organisations) based on a deep understanding of the market forces and the Partners' proposition
Manage the briefing, design and development of key marketing projects for our Partners.
Develop an engaged and high–performing sales team that consistently achieves sales targets.
Train and mentor staff in order to improve the selling capabilities of the team.
Develop and execute sales campaigns and report on their success.
Provide reporting data to internal stakeholders.
Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure compliance ie GDPR.
Manage key agency/partner relationships.
Develop and manage marketing campaigns and advise on what channels are most effective to deliver enquires/leads as efficiently as possible in line with the partner's growth strategy.
Provide direction on ways to improve performance across all areas of sales & marketing.
Work closely with the IT team to provide recommendations on user pathways, conversion optimisation and UX on our partners' digital estate.
Work collaboratively with partners' marketing departments to present a cohesive and commercially viable approac

Requirements
Experience within a sales environment with demonstrated achievement of KPIs
Marketing experience gained agency or client side
Experience of managing and developing a high performance sales team
Mature communications and commercial skills
Demonstrated ability to oversee and understand budget management
Understanding of overall marketing mix and the various touch points
Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels and universities/partners
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Energetic, enthusiastic and creative
Confidence in utilising Saleforce and other marketing/sales tools
Experience of marketing in higher education sector an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross–functional teams.
