Head of Year Needed in Dudley School – Starting as soon as possible

Your new school
A school in Dudley are looking to recruit a Head of Year who is experienced in behaviour management. This school is part of a Multi Academy Trust in the Black Country, which puts emphasis on providing a supportive school environment for its students. The school prides itself on both students academic progress and well–being, allowing them to achieve their maximum potential. Since becoming part of the trust in 2017 the school has invested a lot in improving the facilities and opportunities that can be offered to students, and have added a total of 5 new IT suites to the school in the last 3 years. The school have invested heavily in new technology, also adding artificial intelligence software to lessons to accelerate student progress in English, Maths and Science.

The school is located just outside of Dudley Town Centre making it easily accessible by both car and public transport.

Your new role
This would be a full–time temporary role, acting as a Head of Year and behaviour management lead. You will be responsible for the day to day management of your year group and will be required to liaise with all staff members and senior leadership. As the Head of Department you will be setting standards for the school and will be expected to share good practice and standards.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience of working with a similar role and possess a QTS or QTLS.
