Business Development Director - Fit Out

The Shore Group have partnered with an owner managed Fit Out company who are in search of a Business Development Director to run their Midlands & Northern region.

Reporting to the Group Managing Director will be responsible for leading the groups sales strategy, networking and building both current and new client relationships. The DNA or the business is Design & Build where end user relationships are paramount. You will be the author of your business but with the support of highly collaborative team. You will be currently working with a business development role for either a Office Fit out business OR a Commercial Real Estate firm.

Key Responsibilities

* Build both existing and new relationships using media platforms, direct meetings, seminars and relatable events.

* Follow industry trends to keep abreast of the fit–out community.

* Continuously research and market map prospective clients to maintain a healthy lead portfolio.

* Create a strategic BD plan with targeted clients ensuring a KPI focused attitude.

* Work in partnering with the Pre–Construction team to manage a pipeline portfolio to ensure leads are monitored consistency whilst offering support and guidance during the tendering process for new projects.

* Attend internal leadership meetings supporting colleagues with sales planning.

Due to the nature of the role, you will ideally match the following:

* Currently working in an Office Fit Out company or a relatable Consultancy/Commercial Real Estate company.

* Currently working in a Business Development or Sales position.

* Experience of building relationships directly with the end–user (e.g. direct with the client)
