Head of Energy

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Head of Energy to work with one of our Housing Association clients in West London

What the job will be doing

• Lead on development and implementation of heat network and energy strategy in line with corporate objectives, establishing the appropriate governance to provide robust delivery.
• Design and build the capability to deliver projects and services in line with the strategy, and to achieve the required business outcomes (as defined by key performance indicator targets and service development milestones).
• Provide leadership and day to day management and oversight of energy services including communal heating and utility provision (landlord supplies), taking the term utility to cover electricity, gas, and water.
• Align services required for repairs and maintenance to utility provision assets (e.g. generation plant, distribution networks, meters etc.) with heat network and energy strategy

What you will need

• Proven track record of delivering energy and heat network strategies at an organisation wide level.
• Relevant technical knowledge gained through extensive experience in energy and sustainability working for a large organisation.
• Experience working with government, consultants and other partnership forums, possessing a strong network of energy and sustainability advocates.
