Group Finance Manager
Manchester - £60,000

This is a private equity backed services business in Manchester has achieved consistent growth in recent years and is now a key operator in the sector. The company has a collaborative team environment and looking to bring someone into the high performing group finance team.
Your new role
Supporting the Group Financial Controller and senior management team, you will manage the monthly reporting process in addition to the group consolidation of the financial statements at year end. In this role you will consistently look for ways to improve the financial control framework and implement an effective testing platform to effectively manage risk and compliance. You'll manage a team in this role with a small number of direct reports supporting you on the completion of these duties.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA or ACCA accounting qualification ideally within an accountancy practice, and have a good technical accounting knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP/FRS 101. You' ideally have experience of auditing a range of complex businesses and have a strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation.
