What are we looking for?

Otis are looking for a commercial and customer–focused individual to provide leadership for our service business in London and the South East. You will drive performance and enable a culture of continuous improvement to retain and grow existing customers, gain new business and maximise the profitability of the service portfolio.

As London & SE Service Director, you will:

* Provide leadership, direction and mentoring for a team of 6 direct and c100 indirect reports whilst managing a large, complex P&L

* Develop a long–term strategy for the region in order to secure future business opportunities and take advantage of emerging markets

* Create and deliver an annual regional operation plan in line with the business strategy so as to maximise the commercial contribution

* Exceed customer expectations in a very competitive market

* Lead process improvement activities across the region, ensuring where possible, economies of scale are exploited, and cross functional teams work in partnership

* Recruit, train and develop teams in order to improve overall performance levels and develop necessary talent needed for the future

* Build customer and industry contacts across the region so as to gather market intelligence and inform sales team negotiations and business improvements

* Facilitate a culture of change enablement to help drive transformation activities

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

* Proven experience operating at a senior level, providing a proactive, strategic approach to deliver quantifiable results

* Demonstrable success within a fast–paced, technical service organisation

* Strong business acumen, P&L leadership, cross–functional exposure, decision–making skills, and the ability to work in a matrix environment

* People management skills with a highly collaborative nature and the capability to bring teams together for common objectives

* Strong administrative and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives

* The ability to influence and drive change
