We have an exciting opportunity for an Construction Investment Manager to provide effective direction and management of the Planned Investment Programme team.
You'll be responsible to the Head of Property Services for the effective delivery of the Group's property investment programme with an annual investment plan of more than GBP25m and covering a wide range of projects and complexity.
Proactive in your approach you will achieve performance targets and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Motivating the team you will also act as the approved/support APC supervisor to the Graduate Surveyors enrolled on the RICS APC process.
To be successful in this role you must have a proven track record of working in the construction industry working at a senior level managing budgets in excess of GBP15m per annum. You'll need to have strong forecasting skills along with experience in dealing with large complex projects.
Ideally, you will have a relevant professional qualification, RICS or a Chartered Building Surveyor qualification, along with a degree–level education or equivalent through relevant training/ experience. Further to this extensive knowledge of the construction and building pathology is required. In addition, understanding legislative frameworks applicable to the building/construction and social housing sectors is also necessary.
Due to the nature of the role, you will have the ability to manage, guide and inspire a team. A full UK driving license is also essential.
