This business is leading manufacturer of flow control technology, renowned for their engineering capabilities, quality components [pumps] and their innovation, reliability, and performance. This is a brand–new role which will strengthen the company's presence in the water/wastewater (utilities) and food and beverage (manufacturing) sectors. They are looking for a dynamic professional salesperson who has exceptional business development skills, to drive growth in this critical region. Ideally you will have an Engineering background and will be able to take on technical information – pump knowledge is of secondary importance.
What You Will Do:
* Utilising your engineering knowledge, your sales focus, and your exemplary communication skills, you will win new opportunities, and grow existing accounts, across Scotland and Northern Ireland. This is predominantly solution selling.
* Be responsible for strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation.
* Deliver focused sales and marketing campaigns designed to drive aggressive revenue growth.
* Manage existing and develop new customers to ensure sales and margin targets are achieved
* Respond to, and follow up on, all sales enquiries
* Effectively facilitate the transition of new customers to key accounts
* Oversee progress of account action plans, objectives, and overall budgets
What You Will Have:
* Solutions focused consultative salesperson – strategic thinker
* Excellent new business / business development bias
* Outstanding Key Account Management skills and experience
* Adept Technical presentation and negotiation abilities.
* Exceptional at getting in front of corporate customers, gaining buy in, and then selling across all relevant departments.
* You will be an exemplary communicator and be able to connect and sell to a wide variety of functional decision makers.
* A proven track record of business–to–business sales.
