Senior Business Development Manager - CPG Sector B2B

An exciting role with a successful global disruptor in the market insights industry. They use innovative online technology to give their clients rapid results for less budget than their competitors. The product is of particular interest to the CPG sector which is where the Senior Business Development Manager will be targeted.

Working closely with a Category Director on a defined list of major CPG players you would be responsible for both signing up new clients and growing business in a handful of large existing clients with multiple buying points not yet tapped.

You must have proven ability to open new accounts within the insight, business intelligence or data sectors, ideally with some insight into the CPG marketing and innovation scene. You will be used to managing sales pipelines and working closely with other internal stakeholders in a fast turnround and consultative sales arena.

Essential qualifications include a minimum 3 years successful consultative sales experience in new business; familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office; strong numeracy and a real interest in using data to solve business challenges.

Along with a Year 1 OTE of circa GBP80,000 and a wide range of benefits the successful candidate will receive high quality product and sales training and the chance to further progress in a fast growing global organisation.

This could be a home based role with only one day per week usually required in the London based UK head office. A candidate living in London would have the option of an office base if preferred.
