Main responsibilities:
The ASF London team originates and executes LBO sponsor and corporate acquisition finance transactions in the UK, Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia.
Duties include:
- Assisting members of the team with pitch preparation, research, financial modelling and credit analysis in respect of LBO and acquisition finance transactions.
- Assisting members of the team on portfolio monitoring, documentation, KYC, risk management and other tasks.
- General assistance with workload peaks and project work.
- Financial modelling, analytical research, review and analysis of due diligence reports and contributions to transaction credit papers.
- Other research and output as required for the team's workflows.
- Participate in the constructing and reviewing proposed financing structures and terms.
* Working practice in a financial environment, preferably in the London based leverage finance / syndicated loans front office of a top ten lead arranging / lead arranger / book runner bank.
* Accuracy and attention to detail

* Ability to communicate and defend credit analysis and credit judgments clearly
* Good interpersonal skills
* Very good technical, numeracy and analytical skills
