I am working with Lambeth Council who are looking for a Finance Officer till March 2022. The role is a hybrid role and would therefore consist of working from home as well as in the office. They are looking for someone to start ASAP paying GBP32234 annually.

This is a new role due to team restructure. The role has management responsibilities and they need a strong Organisation Design/Change partner to drive this part of the team forward.

The role:

Strategic HR

Actively contributes to SDC vision, by providing innovative ideas and input to the strategic direction, modernisation and ongoing improvement of the HR service
Ensure HR operational activities support the People Strategy and plans and focus on the provision of effective and consistent service delivery cross the council
Support the delivery of the HR Service Plan, ensuring that all performance and monitoring requirements are adhered to Leadership
Champion the Vision and Values of Stroud District Council
Provides professional expertise to ensure that all People solutions provided to the business by HR are seamlessly delivered and comply with policy, legislation and best practice
Provide OD advice, information and professional support to managers and employees within the council
Facilitates change and innovation, building a culture that encourages innovative, smart and collaborative working.Leadership

Champion the Vision and Values of Stroud District Council
Provides professional expertise to ensure that all People solutions provided to the business by HR are seamlessly delivered and comply with policy, legislation and best practice
Provide OD advice, information and professional support to managers and employees within the council
Facilitates change and innovation, building a culture that encourages innovative, smart and collaborative working.Experience:

Experience of working in a busy HR team, offering advice and guidance to managers and employees on best practice OD initiatives and approaches
Experience of developing and implementing learning initiatives
Experience of delivering a corporate learning and development offer, ensuring business priorities are met through innovative design and marketing.
Experience of change management processes and offering advice support and guidance in relation to this
Experience in working on HR OD/Change projects
Experience of developing, reviewing and implementing policies
Experience of initiating, implementing and influencing change within an organisation
Demonstrable experience of activity and initiatives that have bought about a positive cultural change Experience of developing and implementing talent acquisition initiatives
Experience of promoting and co–oridnating corporate talent development initiatives such as apprenticeships, graduate and leadership programmes

QUALIFICATIONS

A post graduate qualification in HRM or other disciplines relevant to the post (CIPDlevel7) or equivalent
Professional membership of CIPD (MCIPD) or equivalent
