Are you an experienced Financial Accountant with a strong exposure to capital accounting?

Our NHS client is looking for a dynamic and progressive person to take the lead on the implementation of a new fixed asset system and the development of the capital finance planning. As one of two Chief Financial Accountants, your responsibility will lie in the capital accounting pillar in which you will take specific responsibility for all capital reporting activities, fixed asset activities and a program of financial process and procedural improvements. You will oversee a small team consisting of a Capital Accountant, Financial Accountant and the accounts payable and receivable functions, and ensure that all regulatory reporting standards are maintained.

You will be able to demonstrate:

* CCAB qualification with significant financial and capital accounting experience.

* A forward–thinking attitude that is constantly seeking to improve processes and procedures for the benefit of the Trust as a whole.

* The ability to lead and motivate a team.

* Experience of working within the NHS or other highly regulated organisation.

This opportunity is initially a 12–month fixed term contract, but a permanent role will be available for the right candidate. So, if you would like to play a key part in the future success of this well–respected Trust, then contact Heather Clarke at Harris Burns for a detailed information pack or to arrange an informal discussion
