Associate Director

We are on the lookout for an Associate Director with strong leadership qualities to join one of our prestigious clients who specialise in Planning and Project Controls and work on major capital public & private projects across the Transport, Defence, Utilities & Construction sectors. This role will be a London based hybrid working position with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days a week.
This will be a senior leadership position where you will physically see the impact and value that you will bring to the team. The business has a strategic growth plan in place, and you will play a vital part to this.
Supporting the Executive Director with business development and bid writing to work on new and existing business. You will be required to show leadership with effective communication techniques to manage the team effectively whilst ensuring to capture, manage, and analyse project data in multiple areas such as, schedule, cost, risk, and change process.
Key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
* Lead and manage the team of project controls staff to ensure delivery of client workload while maintaining positive outcomes. Contributing towards the development of internal project controls professionals
* Checking integrity of internal and external programme (Primavera P6)
* Working with new and existing clients to develop their project controls teams, systems, and process.
Role Requirements:
* Experience within planning and project controls toolsets such as, Earned Value Management, Risk, Change Control, Primavera P6/MS Projects etc.
* Knowledge and understanding of Programme / PMO and how they integrate within the overall project delivery
* Strong leadership skills within a project controls team environment
* Solid narrative skills to support with bid writing
* Experience in infrastructure sectors such as, civil engineering, construction, aviation, rail, and utilities.
Salary dependant on experience GBP70K–GBP85K + bonus + generous benefits package
