Group Financial Controller role based in Surrey. Reporting directly to the CEO [based in UK], with a dotted reporting line to the parent company CFO [based in Europe] the role will take responsibility for Financial Reporting, Statutory Accounts, Board Reporting, Treasury, Balance Sheet Control, Cash Forecasting as well as ad hoc project work as required by the CEO and parent company CFO. Also involved with commercial decision support.

The successful candidate will be ACA Qualified with a strong financial accounting background and strong technical accounting experience. They will possess the genuine drive and commitment to produce the highest quality work and to always deliver technical expertise.
Some international travel will be required.

Description
- Ensure the Group maintains a strong financial control environment
- Ensure all relevant monthly and annual reporting is completed accurately and timely
- Oversight of statutory accounts, tax filings and local requirements ensuring compliance
- Treasury and cash management
- Manage key relationships both internally and externally within the various finance departments, with group finance team, external auditors, and other advisors
- To support the CEO and country MD's in identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and the ongoing monitoring of the global business
- Manage the development of the group's financial controllers and finance teams to ensure skills and knowledge are aligned with group needs
- Significant ad hoc project work
