Meraki Talent Ltd are delighted to be engaged by a nationwide business on the role of Head/Manager of Reward & Benefits paying GBP60,000 – GBP70,000 base salary + bonus and an excellent benefits package based in Scotland (location agnostic).
The Company
The group have grown dramatically, via acquisition, over the last few years and have recently undergone another M&A transaction which provides a hugely exciting journey ahead for the next 2–3 years. They are looking for an individual who mirrors this ambition and who is keen to be involved in shaping the future of the business.
The Role
The Head/Manager of Reward & Benefits role will report into Executive HR and will work closely with the Payroll Manager & function. The successful candidate will be involved in managing the employee benefits and assisting with end–to–end payroll processing for several entities and ensuring key remuneration regulation is defined and adhered to across the business. Moreover, this individual will be involved in a variety of transformation and change projects happening over the next few years.
To be successful, you will have a strong background in employee benefits and rewards; as well as ideally having some exposure to payroll. It would be ideal if you have experience of working within an environment that prioritises governance; as well as having strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.

- Managed employee benefits function, ensuring high delivery standards are maintained at all times
- Work with the relevant stakeholders to administer and continuously develop employee benefits programs
- Build and manage relationships with key benefits suppliers, ensuring service delivery is efficient
- Manage pensions policy and process ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Support the Payroll Manager and provide cover for end–to–end running of the payroll
- Ownership of the flexible benefits and discount program for the group
- Ensure staff are kept informed of their benefits through regular and proactive communication and education
- Lead the implementation and promotion of any new benefits/benefits–related HR projects or initiatives
- Collate and provide relevant MI in a timely manner. Generating data in a format that is readily available to monitor trends and make recommendations
- Support the HR Executive in the preparation of governance and wider rewards matters
- Have a strong background in running an employee benefits and/or rewards function of a fast–paced business
- Have change management and project experience; and an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Exposure of UK payroll & pension processes and regulations
- Have good systems experience and aptitudes including MS Excel
