Role and Responsibilities of the Deputy MD:

  • Grow the business through account acquisition, using your strong industry network
  • Show off your expertise by representing the brand at various external events, interviews, conferences, and internal initiatives
  • Work with the Marketing Director to create innovative marketing campaigns that will entice new business and talent
  • Client management – maintain excellent working relationships with key accounts
  • Manage budgets / revenue / P&L
  • Inspire the team to push boundaries and meet targets
  • Focus on company culture, ensuring a great working environment is upheld at all times and that staff are listened to and valued
  • Work with the senior team to develop the UK business strategy and grow the business
  • Regularly communicate with the other offices across the UK and internationally to maintain close relationships and a supportive network

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience as a passionate leader with excellent business acumen
  • Constantly exceeds goals when it comes to revenue and profit
  • Solid marketing / advertising experience with a strong understanding of social media marketing (and ecommerce would be beneficial)
  • Used to working in a dynamic and creative environment
  • Amazing interpersonal and communication skills to develop close working relationships
  • An entrepreneurial individual who sets themselves ambitious targets and loves a challenge
  • Organised and self–motivated whilst also being adaptable
  • Motivating and inspiring
