Reed HR are working with a Not for Profit Organisation based in Central London to recruit an Interim Head of HR on a full–time basis for 3–months. Pay rate will be deemed Inside IR35 at circa GBP280 – GBP385 per day (rate will vary depending on PAYE or Umbrella option). This will be a hybrid working role, with travel to the office expected as well as working from home.
**This will only be suitable for applicants who are either immediately available or on short notice period**
The main purpose of this role will be to lead the HR Operations function within a busy organisation. You will line manage a team of HR Professionals, and be responsible for all aspects of Generalist HR duties including Recruitment & Selection, Employee Relations, Payroll, Policy, Procedure and Processes, Employee Life Cycle etc.
Some of the roles and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
– Line Manage a team of HR professionals, including any and all coaching required, as well as performance management, one to ones, and succession planning.
– Support on any escalated Employee Relations Casework, including Disciplinary and Grievance processes, Sickness / Absence, investigations etc.
– Lead on any complex Employee Relations Casework in line with current Employment Law and Legislation
– Provide oversight on the Recruitment and Selection process across the organisation, sitting on and leading interview panels as required, and providing any advice and guidance from a HR perspective to Line Managers.
– Oversee the Organisations Payroll process and ensure each Payroll run is completed accurately and on time.
– Pull together reports and MI data and present any findings to the HR Director in a timely and efficient manner.
– Review and update Policy, Processes and Procedures as required
– Support with the implementation and company wide rollout of the new HRIS system
– Any other Generalist HR work that may be required
This is a professional and demanding Head of HR role, and to be successful it is ideal that you have a proven track record of working as a Head of HR or similar within a previous organisation. You will have sound knowledge of Employment Law and Legislation, and you must be able to juggle working on several Projects at any one time.
