Interim Management Accountant | GBP325 – GBP350 per day (Umbrella), London | Hybrid For a well–known youth charity, we are recruiting an Interim Management Accountant to act as Finance Business Partner to several training and activity centres around the UK, leading on month and year–end as well as cash–flow forecasting and reporting. This role will also help induct and train new staff and lead the UAT of a new online PO and supplier authorisation system across the centres. The role will be hybrid working and will involve some travel to the UK–centres.Main Duties:Ensure stakeholders across the training and activity centres have robust management accounts across all activities and capital projectsEnsure robust financial controls, systems and processes are adhered toEnsure monthly financial reports are produced and reviewed with stakeholdersMonitor the expenditure across the centres and ensure the month end and year end closure of accounts are completed effectivelyPartner with the training and activity centre managers in preparing budgets, forecasts, and plansSupport, guide and train staff across financial processes, and controlsTrain and roll out the new PO and invoice authorisation system, FocalpointTravel 3–4 times a month to the 4 UK sites (all expensed)Person Specification:Qualified Accountant with strong management accounting and finance business partnering experienceIdeally experience with commercial activities, events, or hospitalityExperience of leading month–end and year–end activitiesExperience of managing, motivating, and supporting direct reports as well as wider stakeholders and non–finance managersIdeally experience with SORP accounting, Access Dimensions, and Focalpoint________As an employer, we are committed to ensuring representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
