Interim Project Management Accountant | GBP325 – GBP350 per day (Umbrella), London | Hybrid For a well–known youth charity, we are recruiting an Interim Project Management Accountant to act as Finance Business Partner to the Head of Transformation on multiple corporate projects inflight. This role will produce monthly management accounts for each project, owning robust reporting, forecasting, and accounting. This role will also manage a Finance Officer responsible for grant payments and will support the Head of Finance with the production of the yearend statutory accounts and notes.Main Duties:Ensure the Project Managers and Project Board along with the Head of Transformation are provided with robust month end reports and management accountsWork with budgets holders on variance analysis and prepare accruals and adjustments at month endManage and motivate the Finance Officer who is responsible for processing grant payments and oversee the accurate and timely processing of the grant paymentsPartner with the Head of Finance around the production of statutory accounts and notes at year end.Person Specification:Qualified Accountant with strong management accounting and finance business partnering experienceIdeally experience with commercial activities, events, or hospitalityExperience of leading month–end and year–end activitiesYear end statutory accounts and financial statements experienceExperience of managing, motivating, and supporting direct reports as well as wider stakeholders and non–finance managersIdeally experience with SORP accounting, Access Dimensions, and Focalpoint________As an employer, we are committed to ensuring representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
