Join Police Digital Service as Cyber Security Business Analyst
PDS is looking for a Business Analyst to join The National Management Centre (NMC). The NMC is part of the Police Digital Services and provides visibility and control of information risks for policing. It supports the 24x7x365 nature of police operations, providing a threat detection and response capability for digital services before, during and after cyber–attacks.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to understand their service reporting requirements, and internal key performance indicators (KPI's).
Assess, evaluate, and audit existing service reporting processes, focusing on data integrity and accuracy. Implement and improve processes relating to data integrity and quality.
Conduct data gap analysis on reporting processes and implement improvements in order to minimise identified gaps.
Develop and implement analytics and reporting processes for a variety of NMC services.
Develop and implement a reporting schedule, providing high quality service performance and service value overview to key stakeholders.
Support stakeholders with understanding data, presenting technical data in a way that is easily understandable to a non–technical audience.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop the automation of data reporting processes in order to create efficiency.
Perform statistical analysis of data in order to identify trends, providing stakeholders with valuable insights they can use to improve operational practices.
Provide data benchmarks to facilitate service performance reviews.
Draft board level management analytic and trending reports.
What you need to succeed in the role
Essential criteria
Experience in security reporting and analytics in a tech or cyber security environment
The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Experience of working within complex IT organisations with security relevant topics such as Protective monitoring, threat intelligence and/or cyber incident response.
Experience with data visualisation and business intelligence platforms, such as PowerBI.
Technical and functional aptitude to lead initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to establish and manage stakeholder expectations.
Creative, innovative, and open to new technologies and ways of working
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong problem–solving skills, with the ability to work using your own initiative.
Desirable criteria
Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, such as National Institute Standards Technology (NIST) and Mitre Attack Frameworks.

A hybrid working arrangement will be implemented for this role, enabling the job holder to split their time between the office and their home
